I have received the very same ‘job’ offer by our notorious Paloma Spath and even if I was somehow suspicious right from the outset, I did give them my contact details. Obviously, I ‘got the job’ and Ms. Spath has promised to get back to me by the beginning of next week.
How shall I go about this now? All I know is that I definitely want to avoid receiving any cheque from them.
Hi Michel,
I did the same thing, yesterday, and she obviously emailed me back that she was going to give me some news next week…
I answered to her (or him, I don’t actually know…) that I had discovered her job offer was a fraud and I didn’t want to receive any cheque… I don’t know if I have done the right thing…
If I ever get that cheque, I will just ignore it. I’ve been told nothing can happen to me if I just don’t change the cheque.
One solution and the best, I believe, is to tell Paloma Spath that your schedule has changed and decline the job. It’s as simple as that.
